By mid-July 2020, some 2,359 systems had formally been reported to IMO as an approved “equivalent method” by Administrations (flag States). A ship fitted with a scrubber can use heavy fuel oil, since the sulphur oxides emissions will be reduced to a level equivalent to the required fuel oil sulphur limit. These scrubbers are designed to remove sulphur oxides from the ship’s engine and boiler exhaust gases. This is accepted by flag States as an alternative means to meet the sulphur limit requirement. Some ships limit the air pollutants by installing exhaust gas cleaning systems, also known as “scrubbers”. Additives may be added to enhance other properties, such as lubricity. Refineries may blend fuel oil with a high (non-compliant) sulphur content with fuel oil with a sulphur content lower than the required sulphur content to achieve a compliant fuel oil. This means ships must use fuel oil which is inherently low enough in sulphur, or install an appropriate exhaust "alternative” method, in order to meet IMO requirements. Layers of Fear was an elegantly done nightmare, and while it’s not fair to hold Layers of Fear 2 to be just the same as its predecessor, it’s perfectly fair to have expectations when a new game takes up the mantle of another. Any game can be scary because you’re being chased, but not just any game can accomplish being scary in a psychological labyrinth of loneliness. You don’t have places to hide, nor do you know what the ghost’s objective is (unlike 2’s monster, which clearly seems ready to kill you) – you can face the unknown in whatever way you want to. The only other entity that seems to be wandering the house shows up rarely, and the decision of whether or not to interact with it is more about the ending you’ll get, instead of instadeath. The player is encouraged to pay attention to every detail of the horrific nightmare they’ve walked into. Good and bad endings aside, there are no wrong doors to open or places to speed through as fast as you can or else. Even better, it’s scary while also forcing you to explore. Layers of Fear set itself apart from other narrative, first-person, explorative horror games by being actually scary instead of only unnerving. The body was printed in the vertical position, with no supports. The print orientation should be pretty evident. These were printed on a Prusa Mk2, using PLA for all parts. Not true to original, but it's at the back, and allows one to use a straight mini-USB connector straight up. Portal turret v4.zip is updated and should contain all printed parts needed to build the latest turret. This made manipulating and keeping sub-assemblies linked for quick access. I learned quite a bit on this project, such as using embedded components within other components. This was pretty taxing, as there really aren't many boxy shapes in this thing, and it closes up pretty tightly, with no real access for tweaking once put together. This model is what came of those changes. Once that worked out, I went back to the model and made some tweaks to improve appearance and assemblability (is that a word?).
